Learn more about life at Manchester by attending one of our undergraduate open days.

Our 2022 open days will take place at our Oxford Road campus on the following Saturdays:

Aerospace Engineering

This session provides an overview of our Aerospace Engineering degree programmes, outlining the course structures, subjects and options, the entry requirements, and the type of careers they can lead you in to.

Chemical Engineering

This session provides an overview of the research, teaching, and facilities used in our Chemical Engineering degree programmes. You will hear a brief background to the department, as well as being able to see examples of our course structures and a virtual ‘tour’ of some of our teaching and research facilities.

Chemistry

This session described the chemistry degree programmes available at Manchester. The entry requirements, degree structure and the teaching will be detailed. You will hear from some of our current students and the typical careers enjoyed by our chemistry graduates will be discussed.

Civil Engineering

This session provides an overview of our Civil Engineering degree programmes, outlining the course structures, subjects and options, the entry requirements, and the type of careers they can lead you in to..

Computer Science

This session described the computer science degree programmes available at Manchester. The types of teaching, degree structure and entry requirements will also be detailed.

Earth and Environmental Sciences

This session introduced our degrees in Earth and Environmental Sciences, and the types of careers our graduates move into. If you enjoy the natural sciences, come and find out how we combine physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and geology into the study of our earth and its environment.

Electrical, Electronic and Mechatronic Engineering

This session provides an overview of the research, teaching, and facilities used in our Electrical, Electronic and Mechatronic Engineering degree programmes. An Introduction to Studying Engineering

This session provides a brief introduction to our fields of Engineering and will explore how the different disciplines are tackling global problems, and the challenges to be addressed.
