CONACyT Mexico Scholarships

Tuition fees and/or living expenses.

The University of Manchester offers a minimum of 10% discount on tuition fees to those students who receive a CONACyT scholarship for tuition. 

Some Schools also offer additional scholarships and bursaries for CONACyT scholarship holders.  This would be confirmed by the School if an offer of a place is made.

For PhD students applying to the School of Life Sciences, all CONACyT scholarship holders receive an additional scholarship from the School where tuition fees are higher than that supported by the CONACyT tuition scholarship.

Duration of Programme.

CONACyT set the academic requirement for their scholarships.  The usual ¿promedio¿ required by applicants is 8.5 in the Mexican system.

CONACyT will consider most subjects for funding, with the exception of Arts and Business.
