EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP)

Value

Through its Doctoral Training Partnership with The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), The University of Manchester offers a number of fully-funded studentships each year.

Funding details:

  • 3.5 year fully-funded studentship
  • Tuition fees at home or international rate
  • Annual maintenance stipend equivalent to UKRI minimum stipend

Specified use

These scholarships are open to all nationalities and across all research areas. We actively encourage applicants from diverse career paths and backgrounds and from all sections of the community, regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation and transgender status.In order to recruit the very best students, EPSRC allows up to 30% of DTP studentships to be allocated to International students; this is known as relaxation of residential criteria.
