Why study our specialist MScs?
Shape the future of projects
In today’s fast-moving industries, technical know-how alone won’t keep you ahead of the curve. Organisations need engineers who not only understand how things work but also know how to make them run smoothly.
Whether you’re looking to boost your career in engineering or pivot from a related field, these MScs will equip you to manage people, projects, and processes with confidence — all while building the skills to steer transformation across sectors.
You’ll also develop a toolkit of transferable skills — from decision-making and data analysis to leadership, communication, and critical thinking, giving you the versatility to thrive in roles across a wide range of industries.
How far you can go
Jean de Dieu's story
Hear about how Manchester and an MSc in Construction Project Management helped Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye progress his career, ultimately landing him the role of High Commissioner of Rwanda to Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
“When I started doing projects, I realised there was something missing. There’s a lot of other skills you need in construction, like leadership and management.”
