Dual-award PhD programmes
Our dual-award PhD programmes offer you the unique opportunity to carry out research at both The University of Manchester and in a different country at one of our international partner universities.
Through the dual-award you'll broaden your horizons, gain a diverse and global perspective on your area of expertise, and benefit from the experience of working with leading academics, in world-class facilities at two world-leading institutions.
We currently offer joint and dual-awards in partnership with China's Tsinghua University, the University of Melbourne in Australia, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, and the University of Tokyo in Japan.
