No, you do not need to attend a University of Manchester science and engineering PhD open day to apply for any of our postgraduate research courses. You can easily check your eligibility online, find a degree or project and find a supervisor on our website.
However, we do strongly recommend that you attend either an in-person or digital version of our open days to experience the full breadth of what our research expertise has to offer.
