External funding
If your project is self-funded or competition funded, you may wish to explore funding options from an external funding source outside the University.
There are multiple sources you could consider for external funding including government, charities and industry sponsors, as well as a postgraduate doctoral loan. These may cover a portion of or all of your tuition fees, and in some cases living costs, but you would likely need to cover living costs yourself.
Below are some example funding sources and resources to help you find external funding. Please note, the below list is not exhaustive; we recommend you do your own research and contact potential sponsors for funding. You can also speak to your supervisor for advice on funding.
